If you love cats, you will enjoy volunteering with FFCR!

Every cat we rescue is unique and precious to us. We do all we can for each one, and we ALWAYS need volunteers to help us do that. Whether you would like to help by fostering cats in your own home, taking care of the cats in our adoption center, helping to raise funds for the kitties, supporting fundraising events, or a myriad of other ways – we need you! We hope you will explore this information about the different ways to assist us. Our organization operates in Schaumburg, Illinois.
There are lots of different ways you can volunteer, but some of the primary areas that we need volunteers for are the following:

Different Ways To Assist

Adoption Center Visits
Visit and care for the cats and kittens in our Adoption Center on a regularly scheduled basis; feeding them, caring for them, playing with them, etc. We ask that volunteers are reliable and commit to 2-3 hours once a week. Many of our volunteers have been with us for years!
Fundraising, PR, Grant Writing
Help plan special fundraising events; talk to people and businesses that might be able to donate funds to FFCR; spread the word. We’re in need of someone with grant writing and fundraising event coordination experience to assist our fundraising team.
Foster Care
You can welcome our special kitten(s) and cat(s) into your home and know that, when they are ready, we will take care of finding them their forever home. In the meantime, you get to love and enjoy them. We will pay for food, supplies and medical expenses.
